1. What is Kerala Single Window Interface for Fast & Transparent Clearance (K-SWIFT)?

Kerala Single Window Interface for Fast & Transparent Clearance (K-SWIFT) is a one-stop service for New and Existing investors those are planning to invest in Kerala state.

2. Why should I use K-SWIFT?

K-SWIFT aims to facilitate Entrepreneurs by providing unmatched facilitation support and time- bound clearances. K-SWIFT has been implemented with the following provisions <li>Filling of application form online</li> <li>Uploading all supporting documents</li> <li>Making payment online</li> <li> Online tracking of application and</li> <li> Obtaining final signed approval/registration certificate.</li> Any physical touch-points between the applicant and Departments/Agencies from the time of application process till the final decision has been eliminated by mandating online delivery of public centric services. All enterprises are encouraged to apply on K-SWIFT to facilitate interdepartmental coordination and tracking of applications.

3. What are the main functions of Kerala Single Window Interface for Fast & Transparent Clearance (K- SWIFT)?

4. I am a New User. How do I register on K-SWIFT? Is there any Registration Fee?

New Users can register themselves by filling the registration form and OTP based verification of email/mobile number provided. There is no fee for registration.

5. What are the pre-requirement for new user registration?

6. How do I get the confirmation after registration?

On successful registration, the Login credentials will be communicated using e-Mail / SMS.

7. What happens if I forget my username and / or password?

In case you forgot your username and / or password, please visit the "Login" and click 'Forgot Password' link to retrieve your login details. The New Password will be communicated using Email / SMS

8. How do I get information on applicable approvals/clearances I need for setting up/operating my business?

Click on “SETTING UP A BUSINESS” icon available in the home page and fill up the questionnaire. No registration is required for accessing this automated tool. This tool will guide you to identify clearance / permit for your project.

9. How many services are enabled on KSWIFT-Single Window Clearance System?

Presently single window system is integrated with 16 Departments/Agencies providing more than 30 services enabling investors to apply and obtain approvals online without any physical touch point. 10. I wish to setup a new enterprise in Kerala, how to avail multiple services of Departments/Agencies through K-SWIFT?

Before applying for any services, you must first register with KSWIFT by clicking the “Sign Up” button. Registration is a One Time Process. You first need to register as an individual and get a Login account. User registration will enable you to access the departmental clearances required for setting up of the business entity. First time user can start the application process for a new establishment by clicking the "New Project" button under the "Projects" tab after login. Upon creation of a new project the user can proceed to Questionnaire and Common Application Form page by clicking the link “Go To Application”.

11. How to pay the fees?

Single Window System is integrated with electronic payment gateway. Upon completion of the required details in the application form, the user will be redirected to the payment gateway where multiple online payment modes are available including Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card Payment.

12. How much amount do I need to pay when invoking these services?

The requisite amount will be displayed on the screen while you apply Online. The fee amount can be remitted only using the On-line payment (e-Payment) option. The fees of all the Departments can be remitted in one shot using the On-line e-Payment.

13. After applying for the services through Single Window Clearance System, how do I know the status of my application? Do I need to contact the departments for status update?

Single Window Clearance System is integrated with department systems and processes. Hence you will receive the status updates on your application on the portal. You don't have to contact to the department for status update. You can check the status without signing on the portal by visiting <a href='http://kswift.kerala.gov.in/'>www.kswift.kerala.gov.in</a> Also, system will send e-Mail / SMS to the application on every change in Status of the Application.

14. How can I update/change my personal information?

Personal information can be edited, after you Login. Menu option is provided to change the Profile & Password. These changes will get reflected in the system once you login the next time.

15. How do I submit or upload the enclosures or supporting documents with the application?

Scanned enclosures or supporting documents can be uploaded with the application in electronic format. The maximum size of the file will be prompted by System.

16. How do I get the information about the various clearances issued to me?

Once the Clearance / Permit is ready with respect to a Departments, system will communicate to you through e-Mail / SMS. You can also check after signing in the portal, the requisite clearance documents will be uploaded on your portal.

17. Will my application be rejected if I miss out to submit the requested documents/ information?

No.A query management system (QMS) system has been put in place wherein concerned department can raise a query/clarification in case information is incomplete/clarification is required.

18. Do I need to visit the departments for receiving my approved certificate?

No.Once the application is approved by the respective department, applicant will receive notification via email and SMS and the approved certificate can be downloaded without the need for any physical touch point.

19. Is there a Helpdesk available for any queries?
